About Kay

K-Beauty Truth is written by Kay. Korean skincare has been part of Kay's life for as long as she can remember. She has dry, somewhat sensitive skin. The questions she brings to a new product are usually about anti-aging and whether her barrier will tolerate it.

I document products I have personally purchased and used over time, from the ones I finished and repurchased to the ones I stopped using because my skin did not respond well.

Before buying, she tends to look into whether a formula seems suitable for sensitive skin. She has bought products from Amazon and Olive Young. She is willing to write about products that did not suit her.

Kay is not a dermatologist, cosmetic chemist, esthetician, or industry expert. Nothing here is a diagnosis or a treatment plan.
